Volunteers

Main IDEA relies on our fantastic and dedicated volunteer base to provide free arts programming to Worcester youth!

It’s not only an opportunity to be a crucial part of your community, it also provides youth with positive role models for mentorship!

We are actively recruiting for the following volunteer positions:

• Teaching Artists

• Fundraising Associates

• Volunteer Coordinators

1. Apply to be a Volunteer!

• Fill Out Our Volunteer Application Form (click here!)

• Complete Your Required Forms and email them to info@mainidea.org once your screening interview is confirmed:

  • Main IDEA Policy Form
  • Main IDEA CORI Form
  • WPS CORI Form
  • Photocopy/Photo of a state-issued I.D. or Passport

2. Screening Interview

• We’ll connect with you to learn more about your interests and skills
• We’ll match you with a program and/or task and set up your volunteer schedule!

3. Complete Training

• Complete a series of virtual trainings and/or shadowing current volunteers

4. Volunteer!

• It’s time to put those skills to use
